James Polnick has lived in Clyde for 40 years and said he has never seen a storm like this one.
"The trees were bent over. It was blowing straight," he said.
The massive winds rushed through the town destroying just about everything in its path. Billy Hafner works at Hawk Portable Buildings. His business was hit especially hard by the storm.
"There were buildings that were blown into other yards just all over the place, metal scattered everywhere and lumber. It's quite a mess," said Hafner.
Hawk Buildings is still assessing damage but residents like Robert Miller are already in the cleanup stage.
"I have some good friends helping me cut a tree," said Miller.
He had several trees blown over by the winds.
While damage can be seen all over, the storm spared some people. Danny White and his family came out with very little.
"We were lucky but not everybody was," said White.
He and his family are helping their neighbors cleanup their homes and yards. White said if the community comes together the town should be back to normal in no time.
No injuries were reported in this storm.
