Curious about crimes in your neighborhood? A website could answer those questions thanks to help from Abilene Police Department.

The department reports crime statistics to Raidsonline.com.  If you look at the website you can see that most of the problems are in and around apartment complexes.  It breaks it down even further than just where the crimes occur, to what type.  You might be surprised to learn that right now most of the crime in Abilene does not take place on the weekends, but on Wednesdays.

Abilene Police Chief  Stan Standridge says that the department has been reporting most crime stats to the website for a few months now.  It takes approximately two days after a crime happens, until it shows up on the site.
