Updated: May 28, 2012
The deadline to become a lifeguard is quickly approaching, and this summer the YMCA will be operating both the Stevenson and Rose park swimming pools, in addition to its own.

They will also be hosting a lifeguard certification program May 16 to 21, but the deadline to sign up is Saturday, May 14.

Applicants must go to one of the YMCA locations in town to fill out the paperwork, and the class costs $150.
