Heart Patients Get the Deep Freeze

When you think of living healthy, cold doesn't usually come to mind. But, extreme cold can save lives.
Recently, some hospitals began using Cryoablation to treat common heart disorder Atrial Fibrillation, using below freezing temperatures. With the help of a small balloon, heart experts are putting the deep freeze on cells that cause the heart's rhythm to go haywire. It is minus 80 degrees celsius, which is 112 below zero farenheit. Cryoablation is quicker than using radio frequency to destroy the cells with a higher success rate.
Doctors are saying the procedure will be a game-changer in treating A-Fib.
