Stuffed Animals Removed from "Hailey's Bridge"

By: Bigcountryhomepage.com Staff Reports
Updated: June 14, 2011
A makeshift memorial for missing Colorado City teen Hailey Dunn has been defaced.

Shortly after the 13 year old went missing in December, supporters put up signs and stuffed animals on a bridge in Dunn, Texas near the home where the lone suspect in the case was staying. Since that time, the bridge has been the location for numerous gatherings and prayer sessions.

Residents who live in the area reported via the KTAB Facebook page that stuffed animals had been removed from the bridge and dumped on the ground below.

It's unclear if any crime was committed in the act. Scurry County Sheriff Darren Jackson had left for the day when bigcountryhomepage.com called for clarification.

Shawn Adkins remains the only named suspect in Hailey's disappearance.
