Vigil Scheduled Tonight to Remember Hailey Dunn

A prayer vigil has been scheduled for thus evening to mark six months since 13-year-old Hailey Dunn vanished from her home in the small town of Colorado City.

The community will gather at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, June 25 at Colorado City's Ruddick Park to pray for the girl's safe return. You can RSVP for the event via this Facebook event page.

A large vigil was held to mark the three month anniversary of Hailey's disappearance. Her father, Clint Dunn, appeared at that vigil. It's unclear if he'll make it to this event. Hailey's mother, Billie Dunn, has since moved to Travis County.

Though investigators have arrested some key players involved in the case for largely unrelated crimes, law enforcement has seemingly not gotten any closer to locating the missing girl.

Hailey's mother and her boyfriend have been named persons of interest in the case. Authorities have gone as far as to label Shawn Adkins, Billie Dunn's boyfriend, a suspect. However, Adkins' attorney says his client has done nothing wrong and police are too focused on Adkins rather than finding Hailey.

As they have each week since the girl's disappearance, volunteer searchers continue to meet on Saturdays to look for any clues in Hailey's disappearance.

Comments

Keeping Hailey in my thoughts and prayers.

Hope the community comes together and there is a big turnout at the vigil.
