20 Year old Adriana Josephina Garcia and 17 year old Tatiana Eileen Gonzales along with another female juvenile were taken into custody when they decided to burglarize a man's home.
The man drove up to his house on the 4200 block of Edgemont to find a strange car in his drive way, with someone inside.
"I said to her are you sure you don't know who is in the house, she said no, and I said you hang tight do not move," he explained.
He quickly went back to his car that was parked in the street, got a tire iron, and pulled his car into his driveway behind the suspicious vehicle.
"The screen door was closed and she was right inside and I could see she had stuff in her hands," he said.
That's when he saw the first suspect at his front door from his yard.
Just a few seconds later a person in a red shirt came out from between the two houses a few houses down from his.
"Then the other lady came behind her, the one I saw in the house earlier. I said that's her right there. The other one in the red deffended her and said no that's not her she lives right here. I said no thats the one I saw in the living room, and they both walked towards me to convince me of their story. So when they got close to me I grabbed the one in the red t-shirt and said you are not going anywhere," he said.
That's when he grabbed one suspect while the other jumped in the car and tried to maneuver out of his driveway. He was not going to let that happen.
"I pulled the one I had in front of me and said if you are going to run over me you are going to run over both of us," he said.
He finally got a chance to call police but ran into another problem, his cell phone is registered in the Metroplex.
"I got the dallas police dept, and said I'm calling from abilene here is my adress please get me Abilene police," he said.
Police did show up and took the three girls into custody and recovered several items from inside the home that were already in the car.
The victim said when he pulled up to his home, the girl who was in the car honked the horn to warn the two inside.
