An Abilene family will now have a home thanks to one local business teaming up with Abilene's Habitat for Humanity.

"We're going to be partnering with habitat for humanity and we're going to build the first Chick-fil-A  house here in Abilene," says Brian Lacroix.

Lacroix who works for Chick-fil-A came by our studio to talk about this recent project and how the community can help.

"We're asking builders, anyone who wants to donate materials, time any volunteers, we would love anyone's help. It's going to be a great home," says Lacroix.

For the next several weeks Chick-fil-A will host fundraisers donating up to 20% of all sales towards building the home.

Perfect for those who can't help with the construction of the house but are still looking to contribute. Just by ordering their favorite chicken sandwich. Those who donate won't walk away empty handed either.

"On spirit nights if you donate a dollar you get a small ice cream if you donate two dollars it's a free large ice cream and if you donate five dollars then it's a free milkshake," says Lacroix.

If you would like to help, you can this Friday Night. Stop by Chick-fil- A  on South Clack Street from 6pm until 8pm.
