Matt Roberts -KRBC

Matt Roberts was born in Houston, Texas where he lived for 10 years. growing up he was a die hard University of Texas Fan, as his parents were both Texas Ex's so he really had no choice.

When he was 10-years-old, he and his family moved to Boerne, Texas, just outside of San Antonio, where Matt attended school from then on.

He attended Boerne High School where he played football as a wide receiver and Baseball as an outfielder, in addition to playing lots of golf on his own.

After graduating high school, Matt went out west and attended College at Texas Tech University, where he was a member of Delta Tau Delta and worked as a reporter/ anchor for Mass Comm Television.

Over the last few summers Matt has been a member of the CBS Sports Production team helping produce golf telecasts as a spotter. Matt has worked tournaments such as the Masters and the PGA Championship and that is where Matt figured out that this was his dream job.

In his spare time, Matt can be found on the golf course, fishing on a lake somehwere, or watching one of his teams play.
