BCH Sports Reporter, Anchor

Alyssa was born in Harrisonburg, VA at James Madison University. She lived in Simpsonville, SC until the age of 6, then moved back to the Old Dominion state.

In High School Alyssa was on the softball and volleyball teams. Since she was a freshman in high school, she's wanted to be a Sports Broadcaster and got involved in her local school sports show called Sportswire.

Alyssa traveled down south to attend Florida State University where she majored in Media Productions. While at FSU, Alyssa joined the Chi Omega Sorority and was involved in Seminole Sports Magazine, a college show that aired on SunSports.

After graduation, Alyssa got her first full-time TV job at WCTV as an producer for the morning show. She quickly made her way up the ranks and became a part of the Sports Department in July of 2010.

She has an amazing family, who she is very close with. Two younger sisters, Erica and Kelly, Mom, Lynn and Dad Len. It's never a dull moment when the Orange Family gets together.

Alyssa is excited to be in the Big Country, and get to know a lot about Texas sports, Especially High School Football.
