Leah comes to the Big Country from a small town in Upstate New York. She has left the four seasons, her winter jacket and three yellow Labrador retrievers back in the Empire State.
Leah studied Broadcast Journalism at Syracuse University in Syracuse, NY where she was a reporting intern at WSYR-TV, the ABC affiliate.
During her time at Syracuse University Leah was a reporter, producer and anchor for NCC News. She also served as the Director of Scholarship for the Delta Gamma sorority.
The summer between her junior and senior years Leah interned at the Today Show in New York City where she gallivanted around the Big Apple eating all the Italian and Chinese food she could get her hands on.
After graduating college Leah returned home to the Great Sacandaga Lake and spent a few weeks taking in the scenery before moving down to Abilene.
Leah now resides in the Big Country with her cat, Ramon. She misses her parents and younger sister Anna and enjoys spending her free time catching up with them and her friends back in New York. Leah is so excited to explore the great state of Texas and can't wait to get used to these triple-digit temperatures!
