The Clyde Bulldogs start the 2011 season with a bunch of starters back, but people on the outside of the program believe that Clyde will miss the playoffs in 2011.

6 starters are back on the offense and 8 are back on defense for Clyde head coach David Ritchey this season.

The Bulldogs are experienced, but most of the returners are underclassman. It's a little unusual and it's hard to know how that will workout. Coach Ritchey says, "We're very young, and sometimes that can be a bad thing, but this is a group that we've been looking forward to being on the varsity for a long time. And we've been blessed the past two years to have a lot of guys that were on the varsity for a long time, and we're kind of excited about new blood and  a bunch of young men that havent been here on Friday nights and getting to see what they can do."

The players say this group is like a family. Skylar O'Donald says, "We're a team. We dont fight, we dont argue, and we always have fun. We're always yelling at each other just getting each other pumped."

The Bulldogs open the 2011 season at home against Eastland in Week Zero.
