The Texas based shoppe is showing the Big Country viewers their secret to making some of Abilene's favorite frozen yogurt. The process of making their frozen yogurt is simple:
"First we grab some bags of our mix. The vanilla de-lite is one of our sugar-free fat-free flavors that is only 8 calories," said Chelsea one of the Nikki's employees. "Then we add some of the custard flavor, any of our de-lite flavors will have this in them."
She then went on showing us how they mix it together and poured it into the machine.
"It usually takes five to ten minutes to freeze," added Chelsea.
Nikki's is also about giving back. Rather than pocketing extra cash from customers, the staff of Nikki's is donating their tips to the American Red Cross.
"We've gone through lots of different causes and been giving away our tips. We had a Facebook contest and our people wanted us to give to the American Red Cross," noted Chelsea.
If you are looking for a guiltless snack to satisfy your sweet cravings, go to Nikki's Swirl Shoppe -- where you will have endless possibilities for building your our frozen yogurt creation.
