Coca-Cola Plant Struggling to Fill Positions

By: Josh Berry
Updated: September 11, 2011
Abilene's unemployment rate has gone up in recent months, but one business says they have more openings than they can fill.

Abilene's Coca-Cola manufacturing and distribution plant was recently expanded by 20 percent, which has provided more hiring spaces, but the company isn't receiving enough applications.

Coca-Cola says they are looking to fill at least 30 positions, some that have been open for quite a while, both in the manufacturing and distribution plants.

The open positions range from hourly associates to upper level management.

The company says they look for quality people who want to make their employment a career, not just a job.

If you're interested in applying, go to enjoycareers.com, or you can apply in person at the plants in north Abilene.
