High school students were just in the first few grades of elementary school 10 years ago.

That's a day you and I remember vividly, but not so, for that age group.

Abilene teachers and administrators at the new tech high school, Atems, are working on a project for their students that they hope will make that day more clear, and convey just how devastating and uniting it was for our country.

It is experiences like this that teachers and administrators are putting on a video to show their students at the Atems high school at TSTC on Monday.

The video captures personal experiences on 9-11 that students may have been too young to go through themselves.

The idea for the video was from councilor Zan Willson who who was in the world trade center just five days before the planes hit.

Says she wanted to make the day personal for her students and make them understand how syndicate that day was in history.

They are in the process of putting the video together this weekend and will show it on Monday to the students at the academy of technology, engineering, math and science.
