Abilene Awaits Build-Your-Own-Burger Joint

By: Brittany Pelletz
Updated: September 13, 2011
A new burger joint is opening up in north Abilene.

Wholly Cow will be located in the Radford Hills Shopping Center off Judge Ely Boulevard, and will provide a build-your-own-burger concept.

The servers will build it for you but you get to decide what's on it. You can choose a burger, veggie-burger, or even chicken. There will be an assortment of toppings and you can pick a bun or lettuce to go around it.

The new restaurant will likely be open by the end of this month, pending city inspections.

The owner is also applying for a liquor license in hopes of selling beer and wine.
