On Wednesday night Missouri's Normandy School Board honored Marjorie Allen for her years as an educator.
Earlier in the week she was still in the classrooom, teaching a class of pre-schoolers, and she brought along a friend.
Marjorie always brings her 52-year-old Snoopy puppet to entertain her pre-school students.
Her husband Charles passed away 15 years ago.
She has two daughters, four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Marjorie stopped teaching full-time in 1979, but she's been substitute teaching ever since.
In 72 years, she said there's so much to love about teaching.
"With someone else's life, you can make it happy. See their family and be a part of their world," she explains.
She turns 94 on September 24th and she still plans to keep on teaching.
