Shops like Blascyk Paint and Body Inc. are still repairing cars to this day.
Ronnie Kendrick, the owner of Blascyk, says, "At least once or twice a week we'll get a phone call."
Shop employees have been working hard to get the job done in a timely manner.
"We like to get them inside here and out as quick as we can," says Pedro Hernandez.
Kendrick expects to continue making hail damage repairs through the remainder of the year and into next.
"We've got a waiting list up until February," says Kendrick.
The shop owner suspects there may be people still out there with damage that has not yet been repaired.
"There are still a lot of cars out there that haven't been fixed yet becasue I think a lot of people just want to drive their cars and wait and see if there's going to be another hail storm," says Kendrick.
While it is good to have the business, Kendrick says the process has been very lengthy and time consuming one.
Kendrick says, "When they're through with their part, then we have to bring it in then call for a supplement if it's needed and repair and paint. Sometimes that takes a while."
With the amount of wrecks that have recently occured, the shop has had a hard time keeping up with the hail repairs.
"It's been pretty rough," Kendrick explains.
Workers must work on a priority basis forcing them to repair vehicles involved in wrecks before others.
Kendrick says, "We have hail jobs in here and then we have wrecks that come in that we have to get out first."
Shops in the area are doing their best to keep up with the hail repairs before the Big Country sees another one.
"If we do get another one, we'll just have to deal with it," says Hernandez.
