Updated: September 15, 2008

The Landscape Design School is back.

Our upcoming program is on September 18, 19, 24 and 25. You will learn many areas about landscaping.

The fall season is right around the corner and this is a great time to start thinking about adding

new garden areas.  The fall season is the best time to plant woody perennials, such as shrubs and trees.  In this class we'll help you figure out a design plan.  This educational program will feature an array of gardening and landscaping information and techniques to help you garden successfully.

Imagine a beautiful landscape that will be beneficial to the environment with a friendly approach.

You can learn the type of soil you have and knowing your soil is literally the most important feature to maintaining a beautiful landscape.  As part of this educational program, you will receive a free soil test.

You will learn new ways to reduce the amount of water needed and how to reduce the need for pesticides and fertilizers and learn about the principles to improve plant performance and protection.

The planning and design of your landscape is very important and by using good design principles, your garden will thrive and you'll get great results.

There will be 4 nights to this program and you will receive educational material, including a design kit and a one hour consultation with a landscape professional. Pre-registration is required with a $75 fee.

Call the Extension Office for more information at 325-672-6048 or register at this Web site.
