Max Savings: Cheaper Holiday Travel

When should you book your holiday travel? Some experts are saying now.
Priceline.com predicts the most affordable days to travel over the Christmas holiday will be December 17th-21st, the 24th, Christmas Day, the 27th and New Year's Eve.
If you're scheduling your Thanksgiving holiday, November 19th-24th, are the cheapest days to fly. Plus the 25th, 29th, and 30th.
If you're steering clear of airlines, then hitting the road isn't such a bad idea either. The price of regular gasoline dropped again this week making the state average $3.42, and the Department of Energy forecasts gas prices won't rise sharply again until spring.
Walmart is all about local. The world's largest retailer says after listening to its nine million Facebook fans it's launching more than 3,500 Facebook pages. "My Local Walmart" will list local deals for you, just head on over to Facebook search "Walmart Abilene" and like the page.
By the way, both Abilene locations have two separate pages so you can get more deals.
