This week we're highlight a very special Haskell woman who's heart of gold and desire to serve has made her stand out among the rest.

Kim Hutto, nominated by her husband Glen Hutto, started a program in Haskell called the Area Cancer Support Group to help those battling the deadly disease and their families cope.

Her husband, Glen, had this to say about his wife:

She not only takes care of me, she helps anyone who calls her.  She researches any and all information and medication having to do with cancer.  She helps not only the patient, but the family also.  She finds assistance for under/non insured patients.  She does this for the love of people.  I'm grateful the Big Country has her!

Congrats Kim Hutto!  We're happy to have you in the Big Country!
