The racks at Goodwill can be crowded with Halloween shoppers young and old this time of year.

The great thing about costume shopping at the thrift store is that it's not only cheap, but it's also unique.

You can find everything from hats to shoes, and wigs to decorations.

And what about that price?

"You can pick up an accessory for a dollar, you can have a full outfit for less than $20," says Beth Forsberg at Goodwill.

For those who rarely come to thrift stores, this is the time not to hesitate to costume shop.

Halloween shoppers actually started showing up in late September, and will be searching for costumes up until the doors close on October 31st.

It's a way to treat yourself to a new look without tricking your wallet into overspending.
