We sat down with the owner, Jerry Hendricks, to hear all about the community that is Monk's. "I think what makes us unique is that we are in a unique setting which is downtown Abilene. In a historic part of Abilene as well as an Art district...When we cam here we intentionally wanted to seek out the best place to have that kind of coffee shop.", says Hendricks.
When asked about the culture of Monk's as well as the community Hendricks says, "We've done a pretty good job developing a community here. A place where people come and feel comfortable."
