"I feel like my head shaking and moving," says one Abilene resident.

It was a shaky night for Jose Nabejas.

Nabejas explains, "I'm okay, I'm not drunk or nothing. I'm sleeping, you know?"

Nabejas isn't crazy. People all over the Big Country felt the ground shake last night.

"I made a few turns and I felt it then," Nabejas explains.

What Nabejas felt was the aftershock from an earthquake.

Late last night, a reported 5.6-magnitude earthquake struck Central Oklahoma.

This quake was so strong that it was felt by several in the Big Country.

Jennifer Brazier, another resident in the Big Country, says, "All of a sudden we start feeling the chair shake and thought I was maybe crazy or something."

"i just thought I was tired and just imagining things possibly. I didn't know," she continues.

That was until Brazier noticed things in her home moving.

"Looked over and the fish tank was shaking so i figured it was something," says Brazier.

So she explains how she turned to a source that we are all very familiar with, "I got on Facebook this morning and sure enough, it was an earthquake."

Something she has not felt in a while.

"I've lived in California and felt earthquakes, but not in Texas," Brazier says.
