How many old antiques or coins do you have collecting dust around your house?  This week could be your chance to cash in the old memories that might be worth quite a bit more than you think.

"If it's old, gold, or silver, we definitely want to see it," says Chris Wann, Field Manager for the Gold & Antique show.

Wann brought in several examples of items he's purchased over the years on the road including costume jewelry, old coins, and even a WWII Compass.

Wann says when it comes to sifting through your loot, there's just no telling what could be worth the big bucks.

"There are a lot of things out there that have a ton of value," says Wann.

When it comes to the hidden treasures laying around your home, Wann says his best advice, is to take a chance and bring them in.
