Many residents in the Big Country may want to recycle but knowing where and how can cause confusion.  But now some of the greenest organizations are coming together to help you figure out local recycling.

The fifteenth of November has been named America Recycles Day.  And its right around the corner. In an effort to celebrate and promote recycling, Keep America Beautiful organized America Recycles Day.

This website, Americarecyclesday.org,  encourages residents to find local recycling facilities in hopes of increasing environmentally friendly dumping methods.

And you can take part, all you have to do to is click find recycling, type in what it is you want to recycle and your zip code and it quickly comes up with a list of venues of places to go.  It also list telephone numbers and distances making it easy to choose.

And its not just your typical recyclables, you can also search for drop off points for environmentally harmful objects likes car batteries or those old computer monitors.

Since recycling methods can vary community to community, Americarecyclesday.org hopes to make the eco-friendly task less daunting and figure out the where how, and when for you.
