CiCi's Pizzas in Abilene, Brownwood, Lubbock, and San Angelo are partnering together to assist the families of the students involved in last week's ACU bus accident.
This Saturday (Nov. 12), each location will donate a portion of the day's sales to ACU to help with meals, lodging, medical expenses, and personal needs of the families involved.
"Many of the students injured or involved dine at our local store or have hometowns with a CiCi's Pizza," said Tommy Marlin, owner of the Abilene location. "We feel very connected with the students and wanted to do something to help. We hope we can be a source of support to the families affected."
Nikki's Swirl Shoppe on Judge Ely is partnering with ACU A.E.S. Club to raise money in support of the students injured and for the family of Anabel Reid.
This Saturday Nikki's will be donating ten percent of its proceeds, and has pledged to match 100 percent of all donations raised.
Nikki's Swirl Shoppe will also have live music, raffle prizes and face painting.
