Abilene police say the chain of events may have started when one of the drivers had a seizure.
Police say a truck was pulling out of sonic on South 15th, when an SUV slammed into the back of the truck.
The SUV then sped up and continued across a very busy Barrow Street, hitting two other vehicles, before rolling onto it's top.
The Abilene Fire Department used the "Jaws of Life" to free the driver.
He and a woman in another car that was hit, were taken to the hospital for treatment.
Before the first responders got there, something amazing happened that almost went unnoticed until KTAB's Victor Sotelo started asking questions at the scene.
What he found was an act of bravery.
A woman was in the drive through line at Walgreens near where the accident happened.
Witnesses said they heard a loud crash.
Near by residents heard something, and ran out to see what happened.
That's when a woman who was sitting in her truck with her mother at the Walgreens drive through window saw someone was hurt and needed help.
She got out of her truck and ran towards the SUV that had rolled onto its top with the driver trapped inside.
When she saw there was nothing she could do to get him out, she crawled inside the SUV to keep him company.
She said she saw he needed someone, and that someone just happened to be near by.
