Hear Me Out: Penn State Scandal

"First of all, they are allegations. I have read the grand jury report. I read the 23 pages and my initial thought it's sickening.
We as a society got to take care of those kids. So many folks are just neglecting the kids nowadays, and as a football coach at Hardin-Simmons University and wherever I've been, we tell the parents of the young men we recruit that those kids are their parents most prized possessions and we want to do a great job in taking care of them. They entrust those kids to us.
Obviously, at Penn State, it's a different scale, it's adolescents which makes it quite frankly even worse.
At Hardin-Simmons are priorities are God, family, academics and team. If your priorities are in line relative to your program, you're are gonna be able to make some decisions that may seem like hard decisions to an outsider, but to an insider or somebody in the program, those are not hard decisions at all."
