Rescue the Animals Looks to Set New Adoption Record

Records may be broken by the end of the year thanks to generous pet lovers.

The City of Abilene and Rescue the Animals, SPCA have teamed up to put all animals at the shelter on sale during the holiday season.

If the sale is successful and everything goes according to plan, the Abilene Animal Shelter will be well on its way to setting an all-time adoption record this year.

"You can get a fantastic animal. You can save a life, and you'll also prevent someone from breeding extra animals that may not find homes," says Paul Washburn of SPCA.

The shelter will hold their Christmas sale the entire month of December.
