Texas Gas Prices Nearing $3 per Gallon

Triple-A Texas spokesperson Sarah Schimmer says demand is down, so gas prices are dropping.
The average price for a gallon of regular unleaded gasoline in Texas is at $3.11, six-cents less than last week's average.
The most expensive gasoline in the state is in Amarillo at $3.18, down three-cents.
El Paso and Corpus Christi are reporting the least expensive average at $3.04.
Austin's average is down six-cents to $3.11 a gallon, while San Antonio drivers are paying eight-cents less at $3.06 a gallon.
Dallas drivers are paying $3.07, down seven-cents this week.
Houston motorists are paying six-cents less at $3.09 a gallon.
The national average is also down six-cents to $3.29 a gallon.
