Owner of Burned Pawn Shop Vows to Take Care of Customers

By: Cody McDonell
Updated: December 7, 2011
Today, the owners of Tiger Pawn in Anson were back out at their building watching as inspectors sifted through the debris.

The owner of the store got a call Monday morning that his building was on fire, then came from near Austin to find the building completely destroyed.

Now, owner Michael Hicks says they will do what they have to in order to make sure their customers are taken care of.

"Part of our job is to replace what they lost and people have been very nice about it," Hicks says. "It will take a month or so to get everybody taken care of but we'll get 'em all taken care of."

Hicks says they plan to open an office in Anson to help get people replacement items, but he says while items can be replaced, memories and family heirlooms cannot.
