It happened early in the evening in South Abilene at the intersection of South 27th and Buffalo Gap Road. That's not where it started though.
A driver of a pick up truck was traveling south on Sayles Boulevard when she hit a cross walk signal at South 14th and Sayles.
According to witnesses, the seemingly uncontrolled driving didn't end there. As she continued southbound, she later ran a red light and veered into oncoming northbound traffic, hitting a car head on in the turn lane and that's where it ended.
The 45-year old driver and a 25 year old passenger of the car were both transported to the hospital, with apparent non-life threatening injuries.
