According to Marjorie Cloud, one of the events organizers, the Big Country Christmas Ball will be "the place to be" Friday night.
"Take your vitamins so you can get through it," Cloud advises, because while the dancing starts fairly early around eight o'clock, the floor wont shut down until midnight.
Entertainers for the night include Bobby Flores and the Yellow Rose Band.
"If any of y'all know anything about Texas swing or country, he's got a really big following," says Cloud. "I've been having calls for the past few weeks all over the state."
Cloud says people have even been reaching out to her about the event from New Mexico! The best part is, you can bring your own food to the event. Coolers will be allowed on the premises, however no glass containers will be permitted.
And of course at the end of the night, all the fun is for a good cause.
"The Big Country Christmas Ball is part of our round up for rehab fundraising program," explains Cloud.
The Rehab Round Up got it's start back in the 60s making it one of the oldest fundraisers for the Rehabilitation Center. In the past seven years, the annual Ball has raised around $190,000 for the rehab center.
"That goes to help our mission because our mission is to fund services no matter the individual or family's financial circumstance," says Cloud.
The other great thing about the event? It's completely casual!
"You can pick out anything in your closet and come and you will be in style!"
