New at the Zoo, Continental Breakfast

The Abilene Zoo is always coming up with something new.

This weekend's something new was Breakfast at the Zoo.

Saturday morning ticket holders were able to enjoy a delicious continental breakfast while they waited for a Safari Santa to arrive.

Zoo director, Bill Gersonde, said this unique event is a nice way to visit the zoo and celebrate the holiday season.

"We like to create as many opportunities as we can for the folks who support the zoo, who like the zoo, to have a new experience at the zoo," said Gersonde.

He added, last year the zoo brought the train. Adding breakfast with Santa this year was just another fun thing to add for visitors to do at the Abilene Zoo.
