"Light Up a Life" Campaign Ends with Christmas Star Lighting

By: Morgan Bond and Stetson Samuel
Updated: December 20, 2011
Officials with Hendrick Hospice Care lit up the star on the Christmas tree at Hendrick Medical Center on Tuesday night.

The lighting symbolizes the center's goal of raising $60,000 in the annual "Light Up A Life" campaign.

The money raised will go toward providing free services to families who need end of life care but can't afford it.
