Police say a man in a duplex near South Seventh and Lynwood would not come out of his home.
According to police, he was outside when they first got there, but when they ordered him to surrender he ran back inside.
Police say they had been told the man was armed and that his girlfriend was in danger. Police surrounded the home and officers were getting ready to force their way in when the man came out with his hands up.
