A cold front came through the area midday today, and now we have the clouds and cold temperatures as proof. Tonight lows will fall into the upper 20s even with the clouds. Winds will be out of the north at 10-20 mph.

On Friday, clouds and cold weather will continue with a chance of snow flurries. A better chance of snowflake activity moves in for Friday night and Saturday morning before ending as a rain and snow mix later Saturday evening. An upper level low pressure system tracking across the region will be the reason for the possibility of an inch or so accumulation by Saturday midday. Christmas Day will be mostly sunny with highs in the lower 50s and the sunshine and warmer air will help melt away any snowfall left behind rather rapidly.

Next week looks warmer with quiet weather to start out.
