Woman Arrested After Slapping Mother in Face

An Abilene woman was arrested after repeatedly slapping her mom in the face, according to reports.
Michelle Pursley was arrested Thursday night for slapping her mother so hard in the face she caused it to bruise.
According to the arrest report, Pursley slapped her mother eight to ten times.
Her mother's face had already started to swell when police arrived.
Pursley told police she slapped her mom because she was angry about having to take care of her.
She remains in jail on a $15,000 bond on a charge of injury to an elderly person.
