This week we're recognizing Hailey Hohertz, a hard working single mother, who raises her son while working as a case manager for a non-profit foster agency that serves the entire Big Country.
Hailey was nominated by Meagan Kirk, who describes her friend as "caring, genuine, compassionate, and loving."
Kirk says, "as a foster parent, I can say she has every quality to make a good case manager. She genuinely cares for all the children she is responsible for and is available to us twenty four seven."
According to Kirk, Hailey often takes on responsiblities that most people wouldn't, on top of the everyday challenges of raising her seven year old son. She responds to abused and neglected children in foster care, and even works to partner with new foster parents to help make the process easier.
Her job alone is evidence that Hailey is an selfless worker, who's main priority is her children, both biological and in spirit.
