Abilene Horse Shows Generate Thousands for Economy

Over the past few days, many have been visiting Abilene to attend a one of a kind horse show.

The Abilene Spectacular Cutting Event is currently being held at the Taylor County Expo Center and is now in its 20th year of success.

The event follows shortly after the Abilene Winter Circuit Cutting Event every year and combined they generate over $800,000 for the city's economy.

People from all over the world make their way to the Key City every year to participate in the event.

The Abilene Spectacular lasts through January 14th.
