Green Valley Food Corporation out of Dallas has recalled over 35,000 cases of a variety of sprout products after random samples tested positive for listeria.
Several local food chains including Jimmy John's, Jason's Deli and United Supermarkets all purchase their sprouts from the food corporation, and have since pulled all sprout products to make sure customers are not at risk.
There have been no confirmed illnesses related to the recall and the company hopes to begin producing sprouts again when all precautionary measures have been completed.
