Every Friday we turn the spotlight back on you, to recognize Big Country residents who go above and beyond at home or in their communities.  This week we're turning the spotlight on Annie Miles.

Miles was nominated by her friend, Layla Mcdorman, who says Miles is gearing up to host the 3rd annual Ridin' for Cash Bull Bash, in Sweetwater on February 18th. The Bull Bash is a charity event which raises money to provide the community and surrounding area with Braile books and other materials.

For Miles, the event is personal, because her own son is partially blind.

"She works real hard for months prior to this event," says Mcdorman. "Trying to get this event to be bigger and bigger each year is our ultimate goal"
