LIST: Big Country TxDot Road Project Updates

The Texas Department of Transportation has issued the following updates about ongoing projects that will affect area roadways next week:
FM 3438/Hartford Street signal project near Dyess Air Force Base main gate: Signals will not be functional early in the week as workers switch control boxes. Traffic will be controlled temporarily with stop signs.
I-20 bridge at SH 351: Work will begin to repair the bridge deck and deteriorated pavement. The westbound driving lane will remain closed until work is complete, probably by early to mid-February. A lane on northbound SH 351 will also be closed as repairs are made.
Various roadways: Crack sealing will be performed on various highways in Taylor, Callahan and Jones Counties. Drivers may encounter flaggers where crews are working and brief lane and ramp closures on I-20 where work is being performed.
