AFD Investigating House Fire on Victoria Street

A house fire is now under investigation in north central Abilene.

Abilene firefighters responded Sunday night to a home in the 3500 block of Victoria Street.

Officials with the Abilene Fire Department say it appears to have started on the front porch area before possibly spreading inside.

"There was a person transported to the Hendrick Medical Center from the scene. Not from burns or smoke inhalation, but from a pre-existing condition that the occupant had, so there was one transport in that direction," said AFD Chief Larry Bell.
