Does It Work: I-Renew Bracelet

The I-Renew bracelet, as advertised, "May help to promote balance, strength, and endurance."  The one size fits all band seems incredibly simple, just put it on the wrist, and allow the forces within the band to take control.  I was skeptical, so I turned to some of my hardworking peers to test it out.  First up, reporter and anchor, Katie Thompson, who wears the bracelet through a busy morning preparing for Abilene Midday.

"The bracelet is hard to adjust on my small wrists, so I don't know how much it worked for me," says Thompson.

"I don't feel like I have that much more endurance."

Results, not so good.  But we try again with Marlisa Goldsmith, who has had a busy day of lugging her camera equipment around town.

"I felt I had more energy when I was wearing it," Goldsmith says.

"I don't know if it's because I knew what it was supposed to do beforehand but I had the energy to get the job done."

So while the bracelet may have had an effect for one of our subjects, overall if you're looking for a pick me up, you may be better off with a cup of coffee.
