UPDATE: Authorities Identify Tye Train Accident Victim

Authorities have released the name of the 21-year-old woman who was killed by a train Saturday evening in Tye.

Police say the victim was 21-year-old Tye resident Aubrey Mendez.

A family member says Mendez was chasing her dog when she was struck and killed. 

Many friends and family of the 21-year old are left trying to deal with the tragedy.

The Tye Police Department is still investigating the case to find out more information.
