Burglars Cut Through Fence, Steal Batteries

Another Abilene business was broken into when someone cut a hole in the chain-link fence.

A burglary was committed at Southwest Enterprises on the 1000 block of South Treadaway over the weekend.

Once inside burglars took copper wire, golf cart batteries and brass pump heads.

Last week a business off of East Highway 80 also had their fence cut.

Copper wire was the target in that burglary as well.
