The latest Texas Association of Basketball Coaches rankings were
released today with several big country teams making some big noise.
On the boys side., In 3A, the Wylie Bulldogs are the only big country team ranked, in the top 25, they are number 22.
In 2A, the Eastland Mavericks come in ranked 17th and the Jim Ned Indians follow in 19th.
In class A, the Albany Lions and Stamford Bulldogs come in at 16th and 18th respectively. While in division 2, The Throckmorton Greyhounds are in the top five they are ranked 4th.
In the Private Schools the Abilene Chirstian boys and girls both make the rankings this week. The boys are 16th while the girls are 25th.
On the girls side of things the Wylie Lady Bulldogs continue thier reign at the top they are number one while the Lady Lions of Brownwood are number 7.
In the 2A rankings the Merkel Lady Badgers continue their dominance they stay in the number one spot, While Jim Ned comes in at 4th. And those two squaring off tomorrow night at 6:30 in Merkel.
And in class A, Division one the Cross Plains Lady Buffaloes are 16th.
