Updated: January 18, 2012
A few Abilenians are brushing up on contemporary art during their lunch break once every month.

The Center for Contemporary Arts holds a "Mid-Month Movie Matinee" on the Wednesday that falls in the middle of each month.

The purpose of these events is to allow people to explore contemporary art through film and how it relates to our everyday lives.

After watching the films, the floor is then open to discussion for everyone to discuss and share their thoughts.
